Robin Kinnard

Director of Indigenous Research

Dr. Robin Kinnard is a member of the Apsáalooke (Crow) Tribe of Montana and serves as Director of Indigenous Research at the Center for Educational Improvement. She specializes in program and study design, evaluation, and community health informatics. Her career includes service with the Indian Country Child Trauma Center, the Indian Health Service, the Veterans Health Administration’s Office of Mental Health Program Evaluation and Resource Center (PERC), and the Oklahoma City Area Tribal Epidemiology Center.

As a veteran evaluator and epidemiologist, Dr. Kinnard transforms complex administrative and health datasets into actionable, evidence-based systems that support wellness, trauma-informed practices, and Indigenous educational equity. Through culturally responsive research and evaluation, she is committed to strengthening Tribal communities and advancing data-informed solutions that improve outcomes for Native children, families, and educators.
