Kahlil Kuykendall

Executive Director

Kahlil Kuykendall currently serves as Executive Director of the Center for Educational Improvement (CEI), where she leads initiatives that promote equity, well-being, and compassionate school leadership. She is also an adjunct professor at the George Washington University in the Milken Institute School of Public Health and a Mindfulness Educator with the Montgomery County School District.

With experience working in Africa, India, and Asia, Kahlil brings a global perspective to her work. She has designed and led program evaluations that center youth voice and has coached educators, youth workers, and graduate students in developing and delivering impactful curricula for young people. Her work integrates mindfulness, social-emotional learning, and community engagement to create transformative educational experiences.
