Jiachen Li

Research Assistant

Jiachen (Jennifer) Li is a Research Assistant at the Center for Educational Improvement (CEI) and an education policy researcher with expertise in advanced quantitative methods and data analysis. She recently earned her Master of Science in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Jennifer has applied her skills in program evaluation and data visualization at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE), where she conducted impact analyses of leadership training programs using methods such as Difference-in-Differences and factor analysis. Her co-authored research spans topics including immigrant student retention and AI education investment. With proficiency in R, SQL, and data management, she is committed to using data-driven insights to advance educational equity and improve outcomes for all learners.
