Jessica Lau

Research Intern

Jessica earned her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa in May 2024. Her work on a professional development course for educators, centered on the Comprehensive, Integrated, Three-Tiered Model of Prevention (Ci3T), sparked a strong interest in multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and the proactive use of behavioral screeners to identify internalizing and externalizing concerns in students.

Jessica currently supports Hawai‘i’s Project AWARE, a statewide initiative focused on suicide prevention and expanding mental health services in schools. She also contributes to statewide efforts aimed at bullying prevention and fostering safe, supportive learning environments for all students.
