Research Intern

Rishana Azmie is a Sri Lankan educator currently based in Dubai, UAE, where she has dedicated her career to advancing teaching, learning, and school leadership. With over five years of experience in education, she has held senior leadership roles and developed a strong foundation in school management and instructional practice.

Rishana’s passion for research and academia was ignited while pursuing her Master’s degree, following a formative experience at an education conference in Dubai. She is now a doctoral candidate at UCAM in Spain, where her research focuses on intensive and extensive reading strategies in primary education. Through her work, she aims to strengthen literacy development and foster a culture of reading among young learners.
