New Programming: Visioning for the Future of Education

Now, in the midst of crisis, demand informs solutions. While COVID-19 may be short-lived, its impact is exponentially greater with long-lasting repercussions for how we live, how we work, and for all aspects of lives. In this time of uncertainty and anxiety, we are also seeing the start of transformational change. People around the world are calling for racial justice and equity. They are standing side-by-side, seeking an end to racism, bias, and discrimination

“No matter where your school or district may be in its reopening plans for the Fall of 2020, you can move forward with a practical approach to building hope, resiliency, and a commitment to expanding compassion through greater student and community engagement.”

~ Christine Mason, PhD, Executive Director, Center for Educational Improvement

Visioning Onward: Appreciative InquiryAn Essential 20 Minutes
Tuesday, July 7, 2020 @ 4:00 p.m.

Join CEI Team Members Dr. Christine Mason, Jennifer Ozgur, and Dana Asby for an Information Session to learn more about our unique blending of CEI’s 8-step iterative visioning process, based on the visioning approaches used by successful corporate giants and the wisdom of sages from varying traditions, with the principles of Appreciative Inquiry that will start you and your school/district on a positive path forward this fall. At this information session, we will explain how we can help you, with options ranging from a one session webinar to a complete academic-year package of services.

More on Appreciative Inquiry and Why it Matters: Founded by David Cooperrider and Suresh Srivastva in the 1980s, it includes five principles, all designed to inspire positivity and help individuals and organizations flourish as they dream and design.

  • Appreciate Inquiry helps build trust as you and your team view options, research possibilities, and make decisions for your future.
  • Appreciative Inquiry is a way of being and seeing. It is both a worldview and a process for facilitating positive change in human systems, e.g., organizations, groups, and communities.

Workshop Opportunities: With options ranging from one webinar to a complete academic-year package of services, our Visioning Onward: Appreciative Inquiry workshops will guide you as you form your visioning steering team, research exemplars that inform your process, and plan for collective—efficacy of building from dialogues and formal exercises with your key stakeholders.
